CAM Console Tech Tip

I/O Operations

Great opportunities often exist to improve the speed of your applications for operations such as opening and saving files, exporting and importing data and printing pdf files.

The most efficient way to significantly decrease the time you spend waiting on these functions is to work with your CAM Console Y: (My Private) and X: (Company Public) drives instead of your local drives such as C: (My Machine).

The LoadSpring Connection

Issue 2, September 2006

From the president’s desk

Summer is meant to be a time of rest and relaxation - but at LoadSpring, we managed to pack some exciting business and product developments into the last few months, as well!

As you’ll see in LoadSpring Happenings, we have strategically positioned the CAM Console as a resource for hosting Microsoft SharePoint to complement current hosting capabilities for Primavera and other enterprise applications.

LoadSpring strongly believes in educating the project management market about trends we see in IT infrastructure, remote collaboration and outsourcing. To that end, we’re taking the show on the road this fall for two industry leading conferences. In October, we’ll travel to Seattle for the PMI Global Congress 2006--North America, and in December we’ll head to San Diego for Primavera’s 23rd Annual Conference. At Primavera’s conference, we’ll collaborate with Judy Veatch of Black & Veatch to co-present steps in overcoming integration challenges within hosted environments.

This issue’s Customer Spotlight showcases STV Group, a professional consulting firm that offers engineering, architectural, planning and construction management, and their success with the CAM Console. In the Partner Spotlight, you can learn more about our partnership with Morpheus Technology Group and how we jointly help companies overcome hurdles in integrating hosted and in-house project management applications and data.

We hope you enjoy this issue of The LoadSpring Connection!

Customer Spotlight

Managing applications and data in 17 offices across the U.S., STV’s IT group is faced with many challenges. Because each project and customer has different requirements for software applications, each new project introduces new applications to master, networks to traverse, infrastructure to implement, time zones to support and joint venture or subcontractor users to manage. STV needed a simple, cost-effective way to support each project team’s customized requirements, and as a result implemented the CAM Console to meet their goals. Read more
