It may seem like this has been the year where everything happened, and nothing happened. The year yielded unmatched challenges and growth, forcing us to evolve and redefine our culture in many ways. We have a renewed sense of commitment to our customers and inspired paths for innovative cloud solutions. Looking back at this year in review, after everything we’ve encountered in 2020, here at LoadSpring, we feel that 2021 is no match for us.

Australia Data Center Growth

As construction projects in the APAC region continue to grow, so did the demand for cloud-based solutions strategically located in Australia. LoadSpring announced the opening of their newest world-class, Tier 4 data center in Sydney, Australia. This move furthered LoadSpring’s goal of providing the best possible support and performance in cloud computing to our customers in the region and those with global operations.

Safeguarding our Employees and Customers

In response to the COVID-19 global pandemic, LoadSpring took the extraordinary step to move its workforce away from their normal locations in California, Massachusetts, and London. We remain vigilant and proactive with our procedures, our employees, and our interactions with the community. Although it is not always easy to change so rapidly, we performed at our best without impacting our business or service to our customers worldwide.

Welcoming New Customers

Fueled by the pandemic, cloud services demand surged as organizations adapt to remote work. New and current customers came to LoadSpring for reliable, scalable, and secure cloud platform solutions. We had exciting business in many sectors, including AEC, biotech/pharma, software, energy and utilities, and more. Notable clients included Burns and McDonnell, Flatiron Construction, and PSEG Services.

We’re proud to be of service to so many outstanding companies that keep the world moving.

LoadSpring Cloud Platform 9.0 Release

2020 was a hallmark year with the release of LoadSpring Cloud Platform version 9.0. LoadSpring’s most innovative release ever surpasses all competitors with brand new features that make workflows more efficient and create an improved user experience.

These features are one factor in the success of LoadSpring Cloud Platform. The other is 20 years of experience with project-intense organizations that drive our innovation.

Virtual Events Went Up 1000%

Virtual events are up 1,000% since Coronavirus, says a virtual events platform, according to Forbes. LoadSpring also got a taste in an immersive first, for Project Controls Expo in November. LoadSpring partner BAM Nuttall gave an informative talk on Building Information Modeling (BIM); sharing how they utilize LoadSpring Cloud Platform as the lynchpin to their software integration success.

Our webinars had a particular draw as more businesses adopted stay-at-home measures. In April, we took part in a thought leadership webinar with our partner Deltek.

In June, LoadSpring also partnered with Benchmark Estimating Software, demonstrating how LoadSpring provides the flexibility and scalability that companies need.

In September, we partnered with Elecosoft to present a webinar on the cloud for business agility. LoadSpring’s VP of Strategy, Dr. Asif Sharif’s brought 30 years of global experience in the construction and cloud computing markets to the virtual table, leading a full presentation on cloud strategy, leaving attendees with actionable takeaways.

Finally, in December, LoadSpring and Primaned partnered up for an intriguing webinar covering how the cloud drives digital transformation through tumultuous times.

Groundbreaking Partnership with Google Cloud and SADA to Kick Off 2021

The mood at LoadSpring is energized and optimistic, heading into 2021. LoadSpring recently announced a strategic collaboration with Google Cloud and SADA to provide enhanced project analytics via Artificial Intelligence and Business Intelligence solutions. LoadSpring will combine its application, support, and project expertise with SADA’s delivery expertise and Google Cloud infrastructure, solutions, and capabilities in AI and ML to help clients eliminate risks while increasing their insights and data access to make critical business and project decisions in real-time.

In other words, your cloud experience is about to get faster, simpler, more centralized, and better supported. We can’t wait to share more details in 2021!
